It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together, and I’m fortunate to be able to experience that- and work with some of the greatest athletes & people in the world- every single day.
They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
I don’t know who they’re kidding about the not being “work” part, but I truly do love what I do.
My career is a constant, incredible whirlwind filled with more emotion, pride, work, curve balls, excitement and irreplaceable moments than I ever imagined.
It’s being a part of their unique journeys from ordinary to extraordinary, the medal-winning, record-breaking and history-making feats, the look in their eyes when they accomplish their goals and dreams, the unwavering determination, strength and perseverance I’ve witnessed, how they inspire everyone around them (myself included), showing the world how remarkable these athletes and people are, and the wonderful families I’ve become a part of...
It’s the moments of beaming with unbelievable pride, the amazing and the not so amazing, the ups and downs, the endless hard work, sacrifices, accomplishments, creativity, never giving up, wild enthusiasm, making the seemingly-impossible possible, late nights, early mornings, sub-zero temperatures, laughing hysterically, worrying like crazy, the shenanigans, the “OMG moments,” an entire chapter full of “things I never thought I’d do or say in my career” (wow, was I wrong!), and working harder and sleeping less than I ever knew I could... It’s all of it. And it’s all worth it.
